Domestic Related B&E:
On February 19, 2022 at about 9:30AM, the Brockville Police Service received a complaint on Park St. in relation to a break and enter. Investigation revealed that a 24-year-old male, broke into his ex-girlfriends residence by entering through a window. Various items were taken from inside the residence. Officers were able to locate the male a short time after and placed him under arrest for break and enter. He was charged with that offence and released with conditions and a future court date.
Theft:
On February 19, 2022 at about 7:00PM, the Brockville Police Service received a call regarding shoplifting at the Dollarama store at the 1000 Islands Mall. Investigation revealed that a 38-year-old female selected approximately $110.00 worth of items and left the store making no attempts to pay for the merchandise. The female was located nearby on the mall property. She was arrested for theft under $5,000.00, fail to comply with release order (bail) and fail to comply with probation. She was held for a bail hearing.
Theft:
On February 19, 2022 at about 2:00PM, the Brockville Police Service learned of property which had been stolen approximately three weeks ago and had been sold to a pawn shop. The property in question was tool described as a ¾ inch impact gun. Investigation revealed that a 31-year-old male was responsible for pawning the stolen property. The male was located and arrested for possession of stolen property and fail to comply with probation. He was released with conditions and a future court date.
Domestic Assault and Mischief:
On February 20, 2022 at about 15:00PM, the Brockville Police Service received a complaint about a domestic assault that had taken place on February 18. Investigation revealed that 33-year-old male had assaulted his girlfriend and caused damage to the windshield of her vehicle. The injuries from the assault are non-life-threatening. The male was located and arrested for the offence of assault and mischief under $5,000.00. He was released on conditions with a future court date.
Warrants:
On February 18, 2022 at about 3:00PM, a 54-year-old male attended the Brockville Police Service and turned himself in on an arrest warrant. The warrant was a bench warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a charge of possession of crystal meth. He was released with a new court date.
Further;
On February 20, 2022 at about 3:00PM, officers from the Brockville Police Service located a 40-year-old male, who was known to be wanted, in the area of John St. The male was arrested for two counts of fail to comply with probation that had taken place previously on January 27, 2022. He was released with a future court date.
