At 3:45am on February 26th, 2022 the Brockville Police investigated a Motor Vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act offence, the vehicle was stopped and located a bag of Marihuana which was accessible to the driver. Further search of the vehicle revealed cocaine, fentanyl as well as two pellet pistols, a modified knife, a baseball bat with screws drilled into it, quantity of counterfeit currency and break in tools. Both accused parties, a 38 year old female and a 26 year old male, were charged with weapons dangerous, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession counterfeit money and further charges to the driver for the Highway Traffic Act offences and the Cannabis Control Act. Both appeared in Ontario Court and given a future court date.
