False Alarms
On Sunday at 5:40 am unknown person(s) pulled the fire station at the apartment complex at 8 Cartier Court and fled the scene. The alarm resulted in both police and Brockville Fire attending to the complex to ensure the safety of the residents in the building, only to learn the alarm was false. Ice Fishing
Sunday afternoon Brockville Police Officers were asked to check on the well being of a young man ice fishing in Tunnel Bay. Officers attended and found the man safe and in good spirits. Brockville Police are reminding residents that Ice Fishing is prohibited ine the inner harbour of Tunnel Bay and with the fluctuating temperatures this winter to be careful around running water and ensure appropriate ice thickness for your activity.
