Currently the Brockville Police Service is investigating a case of hit and run motor vehicle accident that occurred this date at approximately 1130am at Stewart Blvd. and the 401 east bound off ramp.
The vehicle is described as a older style dark green pickup truck. The front grill is rusty. Witnesses were not sure of the make or model. The truck was exiting the 401 and approaching the red light to proceed south on Stewart Blvd when the driver made contact with two pedestrians crossing in front of him. There were no injuries to the pedestrians who were two female high school students.
The driver is described as in his mid 50’s with a brown beard. At the time he was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt/jacket.
