Missing and Suicidal Female Youth Located

On the 25th of January, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Brockville Police Service received a report of a missing 15 year old female who was potentially suicidal. She was reported missing by her family after not returning home from school. The family had also received messages from her advising of her desires to commit suicide. Social media posts were sent out asking for public assistance to locate the female. She returned home shortly after. Officers then spoke to the female, apprehended her and escorted her to BGH for assessment. She was then transported to KGH for her youth mental health assessment.

 

Male Arrested in Domestic Incident

On the 25th of January, 2017 at approximatly 6:30 p.m., the Brockville Police Service received a complaint from a female reporting her ex-boyfriend had called and threatened to damage her residence. At the time of her call she believed that the male was in the area of her residence. Further investigation revealed that the 28 year old, local male was on probation for previous convictions of criminal harassment and uttering threats to the female complainant. As a result , the suspect was contacted and agreed to turn himself in to police. At that time he was arrested and held for bail on charges of Uttering Threats, Criminal Harassment and Breaching his Probation Order.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shoplifting:

 

On the 26th of January, 2017 at approximately 6:30p.m., the Brockville Police Service received a complaint of two, 20 year old females had been arrested by loss prevention at a north end department store. Officers attended and continued the arrest of the two females. The value of the theft between the females totaled approximately $100.00 and as a result the females were released and issued charges under the Trespass to Property Act.
