A local, 40 year old woman, suffered injuries as a result of a head on, motor vehicle accident, on Laurier Blvd., close to the Windsor Drive intersection.  Her east bound vehicle slid into the path of a west bound vehicle.  Brockville Police attended the area yesterday around 5:00 pm.  She was taken to hospital by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.  The other driver was checked at the scene and cleared medically.  Road conditions were a factor in the accident.

Noise Complaint/Breach of Recognizance

Failing to attend his door to speak to police officers will lead to charges for a local, 35 year old man.  Brockville Police attended a noise complaint at a south end residence shortly before 1:00 am., this morning.  Officers had received information of yelling, swearing and slamming doors from within the home.  The man associated to the residence is under court conditions to speak to officers when they show up at his door (Operation Door Knock).  As a result, the man will be charged with breaching the conditions of his recognizance along with mischief in regards to interfering with his neighbours enjoyment of their own property.
