Warrant Executed in Relation to Domestic Dispute
On July 18, 2022 at about 12:30PM, the Brockville Police Service received information from the OPP regarding a 33-year-old male who they had in custody. The male was wanted on a warrant for the offences of uttering threats and criminal harassment. The arrest warrant was issued by the Brockville Police Service as a result of an investigation into a domestic related incident that took place on July 13, 2022. The threats and harassing behaviour are historical in nature with a high concern for the victim’s safety. The male was turned over to the Brockville Police Service and held in custody for a bail hearing.
Impaired Driving
On July 19, 2022 at about 8:30PM, officers from the Brockville Police Service observed a vehicle travelling at a dangerously high rate of speed on Park St. Officers followed and located the vehicle in the area of Pearl St. W. and William St. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified to be a 43-year-old male. It was then noticed that the male had been consuming alcohol and displayed signs of impairment. The male was arrested for impaired and dangerous driving. He was then taken to the Brockville Police Service for breath samples. Once the samples were complete it confirmed that the male was operating the vehicle while over the legal limit of alcohol. He was later released after being charged with operating while impaired, operating while impaired – blood alcohol over 80mg and dangerous driving. His driver’s licence was suspended and vehicle was impounded.
Warrant
On July 18, 2022 at about 3:00PM, a 15-year-old female had turned herself in for warrant execution. The female had an outstanding bench warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a charge of uttering threats. She was placed under arrest by the Brockville Police Service and released shortly after with a future court date.
