July 27 – 28, 2015 Incidents

The Brockville Police Service is investigating the damage to 3 vehicles parked in the parking garage at 44 Central Ave (Corner of Ormond and Central) over the weekend. The vandalism appears to be random and not targeted. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Nicole Henri at 613-342-0127 ext. 6052

Last evening the Brockville Police Service were contacted by staff at the KFC with regards to an elderly female in the store who appeared lost and confused. Police arrived and learned the female was from the Toronto area and spoke very little English and her first language was Polish. As a result, the BPS asked Victim Services for assistance and a staff member from the Brockville General Hospital who spoke Polish attended and assisted as an interpreter. The lady was conveyed to Brockville General Hospital to check on her well being and her family was contacted.

Well Being

With the warm weather advisories in effect for the next couple of days the Brockville Police would like to remind residences to take precautions and check on those less fortunate and vulnerable to the heat. Check in on family members without air conditioning especially the young, elderly and those with existing health conditions. Also, watch out for those workers who are required to work outdoors for long periods of time.
