Shoplifting

A 22 year old male was arrested yesterday at 4:30 pm for shoplifting.  The male was at Wal-Mart on Parkedale Ave. when he was observed by staff committing the offence of theft.  Police were contact and charged the male with theft under $5000.

 

Fail to Remain

On the 24th of March at 5:30 am, police responded to a report of motor vehicle collision.  It was reported that a vehicle had struck a tree and street sign on King St. West.  The vehicle was described as a black Chevrolet Impala.  That vehicle left the scene and has not yet been located.  The vehicle has front end damage.   If anyone has information they are asked to contact Cst. Assault/weapons

Officers were dispatched to a Victoria Avenue residence on March 24th at 6:50 pm for an unknown disturbance.  A 46 year old local male was arrested and charged with assault, threats and weapons offence.  The male had confronted neighbours over noise issues and had armed himself with a knife.  The male threatened to kill his neighbours during this confrontation and pushed the victim to the ground.  He did not use the knife in the assault.  He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
