Theft
On May 13th, 2020 the Brockville Police arrested a 30 year old female for shoplifting at the Metro on King St. After being approached by store security the female became assaultive and punched and kicked the employee. As a result she was charged with theft under $5000 and assault. The accused was also on probation and was charged with breaching her probation order.
Less than an hour after being released from custody, police were again called to deal with her. Staff at Dollarama observed the female concealing items in her bag. She left from the store and made no attempt to pay. She was again located and arrested by police. She faces additional charges for the theft. She was again released from custody.
