Motor Vehicle Collision:
On May 27th at 8:45 p.m. the Brockville Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Water St. A 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit was being operated in a careless manner by a 19 year old driver. Witnesses stated that vehicle was being operated at a high rate of speed, lost control and collided with a private residence located at 116 Water St. West. The 19 year old male has been charged with careless driving and his driver’s licence suspended for 3 days for blowing a “warn” on an approved roadside screening device.
Theft:
We are looking for any witnesses to a theft that occurred sometime between 5:00-7:30 p.m. on May 26th. An unknown suspect(s) removed a Maytag washing machine from the Downtown Laundry at 22 King St. East.
