Warrant
At 10:30 am police responded to an address in the centre of the city in response to a domestic disturbance. A male subject was located trying to leave through the back door. The responding officers knew that there was a warrant for his arrest and stopped him before he could leave. The male was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Assault with a Weapon
Police are currently investigating an incident that occurred around 2:15 pm also in the centre of the city. Two males were assaulted as they returned home from a store. The suspects and the victims are known to each other. Police have identified one suspect and are currently seeking the second. The victims in this matter are not cooperating with police.
