Fail to Remain

On August 11, 2024, at about 2:00am, police received a call to the area of Hartley St., in response to damage to a fire hydrant. Officers attended and determined that the damage was caused by a vehicle, that had failed to remain at the scene. They hydrant was damaged to the point that there was a significant leak. Evidence at the scene suggests that the suspect vehicle was a newer model, Ford F-150 pickup, with significant damage to the front end. The suspect is still unknown. Intimate Partner Violence

On August 5, 2024, at about 4:00pm, police received a call regarding two people yelling at one another in the Metro Parking lot, on King St. W. One caller advised they heard screaming and a male was assaulting a female. Officers arrived and investigation revealed that a 32-year-old, male had assaulted his girlfriend by pushing her and dragging her. This assault was actually interrupted by a bystander who intervened and restrained the subject until officers arrived. The subject was placed under arrest and charged with assault and fail to comply with probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
