Joint Services Project Results
In the fall of 2024, the Brockville Police Service, and the Gananoque Police Service initiated a drug trafficking investigation dubbed Project Arlington. Project Arlington was designed to arrest members involved in violent criminal networks and disrupt their locally focused illegal narcotics distribution network. The investigation lead to the issuance and execution of several judicial authorizations resulting in the arrest of eight local individuals totaling more than 50 criminal charges and the seizure of;
- In excess of 2.5 kg of cocaine;
- In excess of 1800 methamphetamine tablets;
- 250 hydrocodone tablets;
- 227 oxycodone tablets;
- 10 suspected fentanyl tablets;
- In excess of 32g crystal methamphetamine;
- 600g MDMA;
- 198g Psilocybin mushrooms; and
- 187 Clonazepam tablets.

- 4 long guns
- In excess of $100,000.00 in proceeds of crime
The charges include, but are not limited to;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1;
- Trafficking in schedule 1 substances;
- Possession of proceeds of crime;
- Failing to comply with undertakings;
- Breach of conditional sentence order;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm;
- Unsafe storage of a firearm;
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon;
Project Arlington resulted from collaboration between the Brockville Police Service, Gananoque Police Service, The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Led Biker Enforcement Unit, OPP Community Street Crime Unit as well as the Smiths Falls Police Service and the Cornwall Police Service. The successful completion of this investigation was made possible through funding provided by the Ontario Government, Ministry of the Solicitor General, in which the Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario supported this Joint Forces investigation.
