Arrest Made After Domestic Disturbance

On February 28, 2024, at about 5:30pm, police received a 911 call with information regarding a domestic assault that took place in the area of Reynold’s Dr. Officers attended the location and investigation revealed that the female had been assaulted by being pushed down and forcibly confined in the residence. The 38-year-old, male subject, had left the residence just prior to police arrival. Further to this, there was evidence that the victim had been assaulted and choked a short time previous. Injuries are non-life-threatening. Officers searched for the male subject and located him a short time later. He was placed under arrest and held for a bail hearing for the offences of two counts of assault, unauthorized possession of a weapon (knife), unlawfully in a dwelling, overcome resistance by choking, forcible confinement and fail to comply with probation.

 

Male Arrested After Threats with a Weapon  

On February 25, 2024, at about 8:00pm, police received a call regarding a male threatening multiple others with a knife. Investigation revealed that a 28-year-old, male attended a residence on Kensington Pkwy. There were multiple people in the residence and a verbal dispute ensued. During the dispute the male subject made threats to slit two individuals throats while in possession of a knife. The male was arrested for two counts of uttering threats and fail to comply with probation as he had a condition to abstain from the possession of weapons, including knives. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
