Multiple Arrest Warrants Executed

On June 14, 2023 at about 8:15PM, police located a 38-year-old, male, known to be wanted on multiple arrest warrants. The warrants were in relation to multiple charges including three counts of break and enter, possession of stolen property, disguise with intent, two counts of mischief under $5,000.00 and two counts of failing to comply with probation. When the male was searched after his arrest, officers located a large quantity of break and enter tools. He was additionally charged with being in possession of those. The male was held in custody for a bail hearing.    

 

Altercation Leads to Charges

On June 14, 2023 at about 9:00PM, police received a report of an altercation that had taken place at Walmart on Parkedale Ave. Investigation revealed that a 57-year-old, male, had confronted another male in the area, in relation to a personal conflict. During the confrontation, the male subject shoved the victim forcefully and threatened his life. Shortly after, the male subject was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.

 

Neighbour Dispute Leads to Charges

On June 15, 2023 at about 3:00PM, police received a call in relation to a neighbour dispute in the area of Pearl St. W. Investigation revealed that a 41-year-old, female, was out front of the residence in an irate state. When the caller from the neighbouring residence went to check on the situation, the female in question spit in their face and threw a screwdriver at them. Officers arrived and located the female subject shortly after. She was arrested for assault with a weapon. Later, she was released with conditions and a future court date.

 

Impaired Driving

On June 15, 2023 at about 11:00PM, police received a call in regards to a grey vehicle in the ditch along Waverly Dr. Officers attended and located the vehicle with the 57-year-old, female driver, still inside. Paramedics were notified to attend the scene. The female was not taken to hospital. Officers had a conversation with female and noticed that she was under the influence of alcohol and believed to be impaired. She was placed under arrest and taken to the Brockville Police Service for further testing. There, she provided breath samples which confirmed that she was impaired. The vehicle was impounded, driver’s licence suspended and charged with operation while impaired and operation with blood alcohol concentration over 80mg.
