Male Arrested on Multiple Outstanding Charges

A 31-year-old, local male, was wanted by the Brockville Police Service in relation to many charges. These charges revolved around intimate partner violence and included, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assault
  • Uttering threats
  • Harassing communications
  • Unlawfully in a dwelling
  • Mischief under $5,000.00
  • Fail to comply with release order (bail)
  • Fail to comply with probation

The subject had been arrested on multiple occasions and released on bail, where he would continue to commit offences in complete disregard for his court-imposed conditions. Police made many attempts to locate the subject, and he repeatedly evaded police.

On June 24, 2025, at about 7:15am, police located the subject at a residence on Central Avenue. He was placed under arrest for the variety of outstanding charges and additionally charged with two counts of fail to comply with release order and two counts of failing to comply with probation. This brings the subject’s outstanding charge count to 49 criminal charges, since March this year. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Two Subjects Arrested After a Sword Fight *photo attached*

On June 24, 2025, at about 11:00pm, police received a report of a 33-year-old, male and a 49-year-old, male who had been involved in a sword fight. The incident took place at an apartment building on King Street East.

Investigation revealed that the two were roommates and they were involved in an altercation. As it escalated, the two resorted to a physical confrontation with swords. After the altercation ended, one subject locked themselves in back room of the apartment.

Officers found both subjects to have received multiple injuries and wounds. These were considered non-life-threatening; however, did require medical attention. Both males were arrested for their actions and held for bail. Below are the charges:

33-year-old, subject.

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Uttering threats
  • Two counts of fail to comply with probation

49-year-old, subject.

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose

Wanted Male Arrested After Altercation with Officers

A 40-year-old local male, who was wanted on an arrest warrant for multiple offences and was not complying with his bail conditions, was taken into custody following a series of incidents involving flight from police and assault.

Officers from the Brockville Police Service had made several previous attempts to locate and arrest the individual, during which he repeatedly fled from police. On June 24, 2025, he evaded officers in a vehicle, resulting in additional charges for flight from police.

On June 26, 2025, officers again attempted to apprehend the suspect. He was located on the outskirts of Brockville, where officers attempted to contain his vehicle. The suspect fled once more, ramming police vehicles in the process and returning to Brockville. He then went to a family member’s residence, stole another vehicle, and fled the scene.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., officers located the stolen vehicle unoccupied in the Walmart parking lot on Parkedale Avenue. The subject was seen approaching the vehicle on foot. Upon noticing the officers, he attempted to flee into the store. Officers intercepted him at the entrance, where he threw a can of spray paint at one of them, striking the officer in the face and causing an injury that required medical attention.

The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. He was held for a bail hearing and is now facing the following charges related to the events of June 26, 2025:

  • Theft of a motor vehicle
  • Dangerous operation of a conveyance
  • Flight from police
  • Fail to stop after an accident
  • Resist arrest
  • Assault a peace officer
  • Two counts of failing to comply with a release order
