Thousand Islands Secondary School
On the 5th of May, 2026, shortly before 11am, the Brockville Police received a call regarding a bomb threat and weapons at the Thousand Islands Secondary School. The school was placed in lockdown for approximately 1 hour while police attended to ensure the safety of all occupants.
Police conducted a search of the school. It was determined that there was no immediate threat, and the lockdown was lifted. At this time, members of the Brockville Police Service are continuing their investigation.
