November 10 – 13, 2015 Incidents

Suspicious Male

On November 10th at 7:15 pm., Brockville Police took a complaint of a strange male near Butterfield Park.

Children playing in the park reported a man in an older grey sedan with tinted windows, yelling at them, asking if they were alone.  The male drove off after making the comments and no description was given.

 

Bail Violation 

On November 10th at 8:46 pm., Brockville Police attended a residence in the south end of the city for a bail violation complaint.

The mother of a 13 year old female was reporting to Police that her daughter was breaching a court ordered curfew.  Police attended an address she was known to frequent and located her. She was arrested and charged with breaching her bail conditions and held in custody to attend bail court the following day.

 

Warrant

On November 11th at 1:28 am., Brockville Police observed a 39 year old male who was wanted on a warrant from another Police agency.

Officers arrested the male on Pearl Street West and he was later released to the service holding the warrant.

 

Family Dispute

On November 13th at 11:30 am., Brockville Police responded to a family dispute at a south end residence.

A local, 19 year old male, was having a dispute with his mother. He started yelling at her, throwing things around inside and outside the house. As a result, her vehicle was damaged.  Police located the male nearby and he was arrested and charged for the mischief.

The main concern was his mental well being and for that reason, he was taken to hospital to be seen my medical staff.

 

Theft

On November 13th at 1:28 pm., Brockville Police attended a north end box store for a theft complaint.

A local, 46 year old male, had attempted to steal various items. He was also on Probation at the time.  Police arrested the male for theft and breaching his probation order. He was released at the scene with a future court date.
