Break and Enter

The Brockville Country Club has fallen victim to a second break and enter.

On November 14th just before 8:00 am, Brockville Police received a complaint from staff that a second building had been hit.  This time, entry was actually gained and a quantity of chemicals removed.  Police believe this crime is related to the attempt theft from their equipment building recently.

There are no suspects at this time but the investigation is ongoing.  Police are awaiting a list of items stolen.

Mental Health

Noisey neighbours perhaps not the issue for a local, 51 year old woman.

Brockville Police attended a south end apartment building around 10:30 yesterday morning following a complaint of disruptive neighbours.  While officers listened to the woman give details, it was obvious her mental health was playing a role in her situation.  Police escorted the woman to hospital for appropriate medical care.

Mental Health

A local, 27 year old man has been causing problems for staff at a south end group home.

Brockville Police arrived at the home just before 7:00 pm, yesterday after staff reported the man was out of control and threatening people.  Officers have dealt with the male many times in the last few months.  He was apprehended by police and escorted to hospital where mental health staff took over custody of the man for further evaluation.
