A local 54 year old woman was taken to hospital after jumping out of a vehicle on her way to town.
Local OPP had advised the Brockville Police of the incident. They received a call from a family member indicating the woman exited the moving vehicle in the Tincap area. The subject then got into another south bound vehicle for a short duration and made it into the city.
Police have no information in regards to the second vehicle or driver.
On the 21st around 8:00a.m., Brockville Police received another call concerning the same woman kneeling in the snow at a church on Windsor Drive. She was spoken to by officers who felt it best that her mental health be checked out. They apprehended her and she was escorted to local hospital for appropriate care. No obvious physical injuries were noted .

Threatening suicide led to police intervention for a local 21 year old woman.
Her spouse contacted Brockville Police on the 21st around 4:00 pm, indicating she was threatening to harm herself. Officers located her a short distance from her north end apartment building after she left on foot prior to their arrival. She was apprehended and escorted to hospital but was returned home a short time later after speaking to medical staff.
Train vs. Car
This morning, shortly after 9:00 am, Brockville Police attended the railway tracks on Barthlomew Street after a train collided with a car on the crossing.
The vehicle was travelling south bound and began spinning on some ice at the crossing. Unable to move in time, the vehicle was struck by an east bound train.
There are no injuries to report and officers are still on the scene at this time.
