Breach of Probation Conditions

On November 26, 2022 at about 3:30AM, an officer from the Brockville Police Service observed a 31-year-old male, known to be wanted in the area of John St. He was wanted in relation to a charges of failing to comply with probation and failing to comply with recognizance conditions. The conditions breached were in relation to him purposely attending within a 100 meter boundary of a previous victim’s residence. He was placed under arrest and held in custody for a bail hearing.

 

Impaired Driving

On November 27, 2022 at about 9:00PM, the Brockville Police Service received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the area of Kyle Court. A witness reported seeing a vehicle strike a dumpster and the male driver becoming sick outside the vehicle. Officers attended and located the 23-year-old male who was identified as the driver. He was arrested for impaired operation and taken to the Brockville Police Service for further testing. Later, breath sample testing determined that he was operating the motor vehicle over the legal limit. The vehicle was impounded, driver’s licence suspended and the male was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol over 80mg. He was released with paperwork and a future court date once sober.

 

Bail Violations

On November 27, 2022 at about 6:00PM, the Brockville Police Service was investigating a minor motor vehicle collision in the area of North Augusta Rd. While there, officers located a male and female together in one of the vehicles involved. It was discovered that the 42-year-old male was on conditions to abstain from communication with the female he was with. He was on undertaking conditions due to a previous incident with safety concerns for the female. He was placed under arrest and held in custody for a bail hearing.  

 

Warrants

On November 25, 2022 at about 4:00PM, a 27-year-old female turned herself into the Brockville Police Service for warrant execution. She actually had two warrants for her arrest regarding two different failing to comply with probation charges. She was released shortly after with paperwork and a future court date.
