Breaching Conditions
On November 28th at 2:12 am., Brockville Police attended a south end street to deal with a male exhibiting strange behaviour.
Police dealt with a local, 20 year old, who was naked and under the influence of alcohol. The subject was breaching his conditional sentence order by drinking. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Theft
On November 27th at 6:31 am., Brockville Police responded to a north end box store for a theft complaint.
The accused party had left the store but Police were given a vehicle description and a direction of travel. The accused was pulled over on Parkedale Avenue. A local, 33 year old female, was arrested and charged with theft. The property was recovered. She was released from custody with a future court date.
Theft
On November 27th at 8:31 am., Brockville Police attended a north end box store for a theft complaint.
A local, 68 year old female, stole items and was apprehended by store loss prevention people. Due to the dollar value and some other mitigating factors, the accused was issued a fine under the trespass to Property Act and released with a set fine.
Mischief
On November 28th at 3:28 pm., Brockville Police took a mischief complaint in the center of town.
Unknown suspect(s), damaged four tires and scratched the paint on a vehicle parked overnight. The investigation continues to attempt to locate suspects.
Public Intoxication
On November 28th at 3:37 pm., Brockville Police were called to the Brockville General Hospital to look for a patient who had wandered off.
Police located the intoxicated male and took him to the station to be held until sober. The local, 55 year old, was released with a fine later the same day.
RIDE Program
On November 28th, in the evening hours, Brockville Police conducted a RIDE program on various city streets.
Two drivers were required to provide breath samples into roadside devices but both passed. No infractions were noted and no arrests took place as people complied.
City residents will see an increase of RIDE programs till the end of the year with the Holidays approaching.
Break and Enter
On November 29th at 1:13 pm., Brockville Police attended a break and enter to an apartment in the south end of the city.
Investigation revealed a local, 23 year old male to be the responsible party. Police are in the process of obtaining a warrant for his arrest for the offences of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
