Break and Enter Leads to Arrest

On November 8, 2022 at about 9:00AM, the Brockville Police Service received a report of a break and enter that had taken place at the Meow Town animal shelter on Stewart Blvd. Animals were previously brought to the shelter and they were being kept at this location for their well-being. On November 7, 2022, the owners had been advised that the animals were there and they could attend the following day to retrieve them. Investigation revealed that one of the owners attended after hours and broke into the business. The owner did cause damage and then took the animal. A 35-year-old male was identified as the owner and one responsible. He was arrested and charged with break enter. He was released with conditions and a future court date.   

 

Warrant

On November 8, 2022 at about 3:00PM, a 43-year-old male turned himself into the Brockville Police Service, as he was aware of an outstanding bench warrant for failing to attend court. The court date was in relation to a charges of dangerous driving and impaired operation. He was later released with documents and a future court date.
