Fire
On the 19th of October, at 7:00 am., Brockville Police responded to a business on Parkedale Ave. West.
A fire had been set in the mailbox of the business causing damage in the process. Police have had similar type complaints recently regarding this type of behavior. The only information so far is that a car with a loud muffler is possibly involved and was reported as dark in colour.
Missing Youth – Austin Bennett
On October 19th in the afternoon, our missing youth was discovered hitch hiking by the Leeds OPP. He was returned to our facility and is obviously no longer being sought out.
Family Dispute
On October 19th at 6:00 pm., Brockville Police attended a family dispute at a residence in the center of the city.
A local, 19 year old male, shoved another 49 year old male and also damaged property within the residence. The young man was arrested and charged with assault and mischief. He was released when calmed down with a future court date.
