Domestic Assault

October 22, 2020 at 1:37 PM – The Brockville Police Service responded to a call for service in the city’s south end in relation to a domestic occurrence.  A 20 year old female was arrested for assaulting her 24 year old male common law spouse with her cell phone.  She was arrested without incident and will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Drugs/warrants

October 22, 2020 at 9:22 PM – Officers on routine patrol located a 44 year old male on George Street.  The male had a warrant for his arrest stemming from an incident on October 15th where he had breached his bail conditions.  He was arrested for the warrant and officers located a small quantity of methamphetamine on his person.  He is now facing an additional charge of being in possession of a controlled substance.  He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Mischief

October 23, 2020 at 1:30 AM – An officer on general patrol spotted a 36 year old male that was wanted in relation to a mischief complaint that occurred on the 21st of October at 2:20 PM.  The male had been observed on video damaging a washing machine at a Laundromat.  When he was arrested on the 23rd officers located a small quantity of methamphetamine as well as stolen credit cards and identity documents belonging to another person.  He will appear in court at a later date charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen credit cards, possession of identity documents as well as mischief.

Domestic Assault

October 21, 2020 at 12:50 AM – The Brockville Police responded to a domestic incident in the city’s south end on Wednesday.  Officers received a report from a 45 year old female that she had been assaulted by her 54 year old male partner.  Officers attended the address and arrested the male for assault.  The male also had a warrant for his arrest for a previous incident of breaching a bail condition.  The injuries were minor in nature and the male was held in custody for a bail hearing.
