Warrant
At approximately 1:00 pm. on October 22, 2015, the Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Brockville Police Service executed a search warrant at an apartment located on Fairknowe Drive in Brockville. The warrant was the result of an investigation led by Detective Mike Grant of the BPS Drug Unit with assistance of both the uniform and detective officers.
As a result of the warrant Police seized:
- 8 grams of crack cocaine
- 106 grams of THC, including bud, lose marijuana and hash tar
- 2 marijuana pills
- Clonazepam pills
The following stolen property was also seized as a result of the warrant:
- Red Specialized Mountain bike with disc brakes
- Milwaukee cordless drill set
- $200.00 cash
The street value of the drugs seized is in the area of $1700.00 to 2000.00 dollars.
A 42 year old, Brockville woman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Stolen Property Obtained by Crime. She will appear in Brockville court on a later date.
Police Assistance
On October 22nd at 3:41 pm., Brockville Police responded to the Lanark Leeds Grenville Mental Health building on Front Avenue.
A 45 year old, local male, attended to the site and made comments about harming himself. Police located the man nearby and took him to hospital for an assessment of his well being. The male was admitted for further help.
