Garbage left at Second Time Around Store

Yesterday morning the Brockville Police received a call from owners of the Second Time Around store at the intersection of Parkedale and Millwood Avenue that overnight unknown persons had dropped off garbage at the store. This was the second consecutive day this had occurred and it is believed it was the same person responsible on both nights.

Brockville Police would like to remind area residents that the unlawful dumping of garbage on either private or public property is subject to a fine of $200 plus victim surcharge under City of Brockville By-Law 093-2012 Section 10.1. As well, on private property, it could also result in a fine under the Trespass to Property Act of Ontario for engaging in a prohibited activity.
