Fraud and Drugs
On October 30, 2021, officers arrested a 39-year-old male for an outstanding fraud offence. A search of the subject incident to arrest revealed him to be in possession of crystal meth, cocaine and brass knuckles. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
Domestic Dispute
On October 31, 2021, police responded to a domestic dispute in progress in the City’s south end. The investigation resulted in a 31 year old female being arrested for numerous offences including assault, mischief and criminal harassment. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
Halloween – R.I.D.E.
The Brockville Police Service conducted a R.I.D.E. program and pleased to report no criminal charges for impaired driving. A total of 5 drivers were issued warnings for various highway traffic act offences.
No serious concerns related to Halloween were reported to this service.
