Public intoxication/breach of bail conditions

Early Saturday morning officers located a 24 year old male sleeping at the side of the Courthouse Ave.  The male was in such an intoxicated state that paramedics were contacted.  It was discovered that he was on bail conditions not to consume alcohol.   He was treated at the Brockville General Hospital and released with a future court date.

 

Public Intoxication

On Saturday at 2:00 pm a 63 year old male was arrested for his own safety as he was intoxicated and challenging tenants in his building to fights.  He was held until sober and released.

 

Bail Violations

A 36 year old female was located at a licensed establishment in the downtown core contrary to her probation conditions.  She was arrested/charged and released with a future court date.

 

Impaired

At 2:40 am today, a 40 year old male was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample after officers observed him driving the wrong way on a one way street.  When officers attempted to stop the vehicle he drove over a curb.  The vehicle continued for a short time until he hit a cement pole.  The male then attempted to flee on foot, but was arrested a short distance later.
