During the week of May 12th to 18th, Brockville Police Officers took part in Operation Impact.
Approximately 300 motor vehicle operators had contact with police whether through RIDE programs or random stops.
- Four drivers were charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle.
- Sixty-six charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act. They ranged from speeding and seatbelt offences to insurance violations and unsafe lane changes.
Brockville Police reported no serious motor vehicle collisions over this time period that included the May long weekend.
