Monday May 15th marks the beginning of Police Week in Ontario and the Brockville Police Service and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario are providing a free educational and training session for all area licenced establishments and festival organizers as part of our Police Week activities. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Hope Tabernacle Church, 2811 Parkedale Avenue, Brockville, staff and volunteers who may work or serve alcohol are invited to attend this interactive and educational session.
In addition to the Liquor License Act, officers from the agencies present will speak about the new “No Colours” program under the Trespass to Property the Brockville Police Service is initiating, the municipal alcohol policy of the City of Brockville, and changes in the application process for Special Occasion and Catering permits.
There will also be a panel discussion with members of the Brockville Fire Department, City of Brockville, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and The Brockville Police Service participating.
