Warrants:
On September 19, 2019 at 12:05 a.m. officers on routine patrol observed a cyclist without a light on his bicycle. The 26 year old male was stopped for that infraction and identified. It was discovered that the male had a warrant for his arrest for failing to attend court to answer to a mischief charge from 2018. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
On September 19, 2019 a 35 year old male turned himself in to police when he realized that he had missed a court date and a warrant had been issued for his arrest. He was arrested and released with a future court date.
Lastly, on September 17th a 1:30 p.m. a 27 year old female surrendered to court staff as there was a warrant for her arrest for failing to attend court. She was brought before the court that day and provided with a future court date.
Mischief:
On September 19, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. two young people were arrested and charged with mischief. The youth were throwing bricks at passing VIA rail cars. The will be appearing in court at a later date.
