Domestic Dispute
On September 3rd at approximately 7:30 am, Brockville Police responded to a domestic complaint at a residence in the south end of the city.
A 25 year old male and his 23 year old female, partner were involved in a verbal dispute.
Police felt that things would continue if they left so the male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace. He was released unconditionally after a cooling off period.
Domestic Dispute
On September 3rd at approximately 11:20 am, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a north end apartment complex.
Investigation revealed the 25 year old, female resident, had assaulted her 25 year old male partner. She was subsequently arrested and charged with assault. After a short time in custody, she was released on conditions with a future court date.
Warrant
On September 3rd at approximately 3:00 pm, Brockville Police executed a drug search warrant on a south end apartment building.
Police seized almost a pound and a half of marijuana and a large sum of cash. The street value of the drugs is in the thousands. The local, 44 year old resident was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was released with a future court date.
Breaching Conditions
On September 3rd at approximately 5:40 pm, Brockville Police were on general patrol and observed a male party on a south end street who was known to be on house arrest.
The local, 19 year old, was arrested for breaching a conditional sentence order. He was held in custody and will appear in bail court later today.
Pulled Fire Alarm
On September 3rd at approximately 9:35 pm, Brockville Police responded once again to a pulled fire alarm at a north end apartment complex.
Police have no suspects in these incidents and encourage anyone with knowledge to contact us.
Impaired Driver
On September 4th at approximately 12:35 am, Brockville Police stopped a vehicle on a south end street after it almost struck the officers vehicle.
The local, 34 year old, male driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
Breath readings were in the area of three times the legal limit.
Distracted Driving
On September 3rd, Brockville Police laid two charges during the day for distracted driving involving cell phone usage.
