The Brockville Police Service has received several reports of synthetic fentanyl being sold on the streets of Brockville. Synthetic fentanyl may also be known by its street name of w18 or faded 80’s and sold at a discounted price from the traditional fentanyl patches, and may be in powder form and mixed with cocaine. This particular drug is very potent and potentially fatal.
Brockville Police are asking the public to pass on any information regarding synthetic fentanyl being sold on the streets and urging extreme caution when somebody is presenting this as a drug.
