Update to Mac’s Robbery – January 28th, 2017

Just before 9 pm on Saturday evening Brockville Police responded to a holdup alarm at the Mac’s Milk on King St West in Brockville. An identified male entered the store and shortly thereafter approached the counter, produced a handgun and demanded cash. The lone male then fled the store on foot headed westbound.

A white SUV was observed shortly after the robbery driving the wrong way on Gilmour Street (southbound) and turn right and head westbound on King Street. At this time it is unknown whether this vehicle is connected to this incident.

Leeds County OPP was advised of the robbery and assisted Brockville Police by searching the King St W/Highway 2 West corridor for suspects. The Brockville Police Forensic Unit attended and processed the store for Identification purposes and able to obtain from Mac’s Security, surveillance photos of the suspect.

The suspect is described as male with a white complexion, 25-30 years of age, facial hair, dark eyes, slim build, dark coat and plaid scarf.
