Using Stolen Credit Cards

On Saturday June 6th, 2015 an alert employee at the Real Canadian Superstore noticed 3 suspicious males at the UScan checkout whom she had recognized as being in the store 2 days early attempting to purchase a large quantity of gift cards. She notified her Loss Prevention Department who in turn contacted the Brockville Police.

Two of the males exited the store and ran off toward a vehicle parked near the Sports Experts where they were apprehended by police. Loss Prevention officers kept a watch for the 3rd suspect and pointed him out to police where he was apprehended a short time later near the Wal-Mart parking lot.

A large number of fraudulent credit cards, 2 laptop computers and a skimming device used in the production of fraudulent cards were located as a result of the arrest and it was learned the accused persons had a attended a number of stores along the Parkedale Avenue corridor.

Fredlee Maitre-St-Fleur, Jefferson Edouard, and Kendy Lucien all of the Montreal area were arrested and charged with a number of credit card offences and fraud related offences. They were remanded into custody until Wednesday June 10th for a bail hearing.
