The law requires a temporary suspension of driving privileges for a period of 7 days for second time alert warnings, as was the case for this 39 year old man.   The incident didn’t end there. Later on in the evening officers see the same vehicle being operated again without lights turned on and the car is stopped again. This time another male who is under the influence of alcohol is behind the wheel. During that investigation the 64 year old male demands that he will display his sobriety to officers and in the process fails. He was arrested for impaired driving and subsequently supplied samples of his breath which resulted in readings of being over the legal limit and received a future court date for the offence. The vehicle was impounded.
