Unlawfully at Large

On Saturday January 4, 2014 at 5:00 pm, 35 year old Troy Constantineau failed to attend the Brockville Jail to serve part of his intermittent sentence. Constantineau is now wanted for the offences of unlawfully at large and breach of probation.

Impaired Driving

Constable April Muldoon of the Brockville Police observed a vehicle travelling the wrong way on a one way street in downtown Brockville on Sunday January 5, 2014. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. A 19 year old female has been arrested and charged with impaired driving.

Impaired Driver

On January 3, 2014 Brockville Police responded to a complaint of drinking and driving on Stewart Boulevard. At 2:50 am police located the suspect vehicle and driver at north end business lot. Police confirmed that the driver had been drinking. As a result of the investigation a 53 year old male from Athens has been charged with Impaired Driving.

Intoxicated Persons

On the 31st of December 2013 at 7 pm officers attended a building on Victoria Avenue. At this time a 58 year old male was found to be intoxicated and passed out in a common area. The male was apprehended and lodged until sober. He was later released with a Provincial Offences notice for being intoxicated in a public place.

On the 1st of January 2014 at 12:30 am officers located a male who was intoxicated on Parkedale Avenue. The 54 year old male from Brockville was apprehended and lodged until sober. He was released with a Provincial Offences Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.

Disturbances

On the 31st of December 2013 at 9:50 pm officers attended a disturbance on Ferguson Drive. Upon officers arrival a group of people were advised to depart the area. One male became confrontational and refused to listen to direction. The male was arrested and charged with obstruct police, resist arrest, breach of probation and breaching an officer in charge undertaking. The 19 year old male from Brockville was held for bail and remanded into custody. He will appear at a future bail hearing.

On the 1st of January 2014 at 4:20 am officers attended a disturbance on King Street. At this time a 23 year old female from Brockville was apprehended to prevent a further breach of the peace. She was released unconditionally later.

Stolen Vehicle

On the 1st of January 2014 at 2:55 am officers received a report of a stolen vehicle from Fitzsimmons Dr. At the time the vehicle was running while items were being loaded into it. Unknown suspects fled in the vehicle and it was reported stolen. On the 2nd of January 2014 at 5:40 am officers received a report of a vehicle in the snowbank on Steacy Gardens in Brockville. Officers attended and located the vehicle stolen from Fitzsimmons Drive. The registered owner was contacted to attend and the vehicle was found to have some minor damage. Assistance

On the 1st of January 2014 at 4:30 pm officers attended to a Liston Avenue address in response to a female requiring assistance. The female had fallen and injured herself and was unable to get to the door. Entry was gained and the female was treated by EMS. She was transported to BGH.

****Update to Theft of Vehicle***

The accused in the matter Kevin Lunn will be appearing in court this afternoon. Brockville Police are updating the information originally obtained to indicate that the accused had approached the vehicle on July 7th which was occupied by two children and an adult female. The driver had exited the vehicle for a moment and went into the Quickie at Pearl Street and William Street. While the female was in the store the accused attempted to enter the vehicle, however, the adult occupant was able to secure the door in order to prevent him from entering. The accused then left the area. The owner of the vehicle returned and located the male on James Street and notified jail officials to call police. The accused was located blocks away and arrested.
