Purse Removed From Residence

On September 23rd at 2:34 am, Brockville Police attended a north end home to investigate a break and enter. The residents heard a door close to their residence and attended downstairs. They began looking around and discovered a purse had been removed from the home. This incident looks like it is connected to other recent thefts from homes while people are sleeping.

Warrant

On September 22nd, in the morning hours, a 31 year old man from the Toronto area turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

In late August, the male was involved in an accident in Kitley Township, he then drove into Brockville and exited his vehicle while attempting to pull over and left the car in gear. As a result, he ran over his own foot and was taken to local hospital. Officers made a demand for a blood sample at that time and the reading was sent back to Police which was over three times the legal limit. Due to the delay for the testing procedure, the warrant was issued weeks after the actual events. The warrant was executed and the accused was released on conditions and given a future court date.
