Passenger on VIA Train requests assistance

A 21 year old male passenger of a westbound VIA Train called police early last evening asking police to meet him at the VIA station when he arrived.

The passenger enroute from Montreal to Toronto was not feeling well, had not eaten in a number of days, and was without his medication and wanting to go to the hospital to be examined. When he arrived in Brockville, he identified himself to officers who conveyed him to the Brockville General Hospital where he was examined and treated by staff at the hospital.

Don’t leave pets in your vehicles

With the warmer weather finally arriving and more expected this weekend, Brockville Police are beginning to receive calls about pets being left unattended in vehicles.

The Brockville Police would like to remind all pet owners, not to leave pets unattended in vehicles while they go shopping and especially in the warmer weather. Please consider the safety of your pet first.
