Shoplifter
On November 10, 2017, at 2:40p.m., the Brockville Police Service received a call to attend to a department store in the North of the city in response to a theft. There, Loss Prevention had a 54 year old female from Athens in custody. The approximate value of the theft was $150. She was charged with theft under $5000 and given a future court date.
Warrants
On November 10, 2017 in the early morning, the Brockville Police Service executed an arrest warrant on a 27 year old, local female for fail to attend court. She was charged and released from custody with a new court date.
Family Dispute
On November 10, 2017 the Brockville Police Service responded to a family dispute call in the Center of the City. There, a 60 year old, local male was intoxicated and in a dispute with his daughter. Officers attempted to rectify the situation. Due to the males intoxication level and inability to take advice to calm the situation, officers placed the male under arrest to prevent a breach of the peace. He was held in cells until sober and released unconditionally.
