November 17 – 20, 2017 Incidents

Theft

On the 17th of November, 2017 in the late evening hours, police received a call regarding a theft in progress at a store in the north end of Brockville. Information received is the suspect had since left the store via a taxi. He was located a short distance later in a south end apartment complex where he was arrested for the offence of theft. A quantity of stolen property was located on the 36 year old accused. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

 

Shoplifting

On the 18th of November, 2017 in the afternoon, police received a call to attend a store in the north end of Brockville regarding a shoplifter in custody. Upon police arrival the 27 year old male shoplifter was resisting arrested and a struggle ensued. He was arrested by police. He was released on with a court date for resist arrest and theft under $5000.

 

Impaired Driving

On the 18th of November, 2017 in the evening hours, police conducted a traffic stop of a car in the City of Brockville. A road side test was conducted and as a result of the driver registered a fail, he was arrested for the offence of over 80mgs/100ml of blood. Breath tests were conducted of the driver which resulted in him having almost 3 times the legal limit in his blood. A 45 year old male was released with a court date.

 

Theft

On the 19th of November, 2017 in the morning hours, police received a call regarding a theft from a local restaurant. A vehicle description and driver was provided to police. The vehicle and occupant were located in the south end of town where he was arrested for the offence of theft under. A 26 year old male was released with a future court date.
