October 17, 2019 News Release

Breach of Conditional Sentence

The 39 year old female that was involved in the accident reported on October 15, 2019 has been found to be breaching her conditional sentence.  A conditional sentence is an imprisonment (jail) sentence, except that the offender serves the sentence outside of jail, under strict, jail-like conditions. Conditional sentences are sometimes called “house arrest” because they often require an offender to spend all or part of the sentence in their house. The female was found to be in possession of non-medically prescribed drugs during that investigation.  Part of her conditional sentence was not to be in possession of drugs.  She was held in custody for a bail hearing yesterday.
