Shoplifting
On October 2nd at approximately 12:25 pm, Brockville Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at a north end department store.
A local, 32 year old female, was arrested and charged with theft under. She was released at the store and issued a future court date.
Public Intoxication
On October 2nd at approximately 2:00 pm, Brockville Police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male in front of a business in the center of the city.
A local, 49 year old male, was discovered very intoxicated and unable to look after himself. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication. When sober, the male was released with a fine.
Also on October 2nd at approximately 7:30 pm, Brockville Police attended to the King Street area after a complaint of a drunk male drawing attention to himself.
Police located a local, 46 year old, who was intoxicated and in need of Police intervention. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication. A fine was issued when sober enough to be released.
Disturbance
On October 3rd at approximately 12:30 am, Brockville Police attended St. Lawrence College for a disturbance.
No one was making any complaint of assault and the fight stopped quickly. A local, 19 year old male, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He had been identified as a main player in the disturbance. He was released later with a fine.
Public Intoxication
On October 3rd at approximately 12:55 am, a local cab driver attended the Police station with a drunk male in his cab that was no longer communicating. The local, 28 year old male, was arrested and held in Police custody till sober. He was released later the same day.
Neighbour Dispute
On October 3rd at approximately 11:30 am, Brockville Police attended a south end apartment complex for a neighbour dispute.
A 52 year old female resident, was attending to another woman’s apartment and causing problems. She was arrested for public intoxication and released with a fine when sober.
Disturbance
On October 4th at approximately 1:45 am, Brockville Police attended a disturbance outside a bar on Perth Street.
Two males engaged in a scuffle that caused some damage to the patio of the establishment. Although unable to determine who was directly responsible, a local, 32 year old male was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was released later the same day with a fine.
Domestic Dispute
On October 4th at approximately 3:00 am, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute in the center area of the city.
The involved male fled the scene on foot and was tracked for a distance by Brockville Police K-9. The male was not located. If it was the same male suspected, Police believe he fled because a warrant was already in effect for the arrest of the 25 year old.
The investigation continues.
Bail Violation
On October 4th at approximately 4:40 am, while Police were investigating another complaint, Police had cause to speak to another male in the area.
Police dealt with a local, 26 year old male, on probation with a condition of no alcohol consumption. The male was found to have consumed alcohol and was arrested and charged with the breach. He was released from the scene with a future court date.
Domestic Dispute
On October 4th at approximately 4L20 pm, Brockville Police attended a domestic dispute in the south end of the city.
A local, 42 year old female, assaulted her common-law boyfriend and broke property belonging to him. The male suffered minimal injuries in the assault. The female was arrested and charged with assault and mischief. She was held for a bail hearing this afternoon.
Indecent Act
On October 4th at approximately 5:50 pm, Brockville Police responded to a complaint of a male party exposing himself.
The victim was in the area of the walking path near Brock Street and Perth Street. The accused is described as a white male, mid 20’s, 5’5″, thin, short brown hair. The victim felt there were possible mental health issues at play.

Domestic Dispute
On October 4th at approximately 7:45 pm, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute taking place between a couple walking on Ormond Street.
Witnesses indicated the female was hit by the male during the incident. Police arrested and charged a local, 36 year old male, with assault. The 21 year old, female victim was not hurt during the incident. He was held for a bail hearing.
