Impaired

October 20th, 2020 at 12:04 PM – The Brockville Police Service arrested a 64 year old male for impaired operation of a conveyance on Tuesday at noon.  The service had received a call of a possible impaired driver in the area of Perth Street.  The vehicle was stopped a short distance away and the driver showed signs of impairment.  He was arrested for impaired and drive with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol.   He will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge. 

He has had his vehicle impounded for 7 days and his licence automatically suspended for 90 days.

 

Bail violations

October 21st, 2020 at 4:14 am – A 21 year old male was arrested on James Street for breaching a release condition.  The complainant had called police to report two people were camping on his property and would like them removed.  Officers located the male and 29 year old female inside the tent.  The male was found to be in breach of his release condition and was arrested.  The female was asked to pack up and vacate the property. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
