Halloween

Officers, along with community members were out in full force monitoring the city’s streets and parks during the prime time Halloween trick or treating hours. I am pleased to report that very few incidents were reported during this time.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Officers responded to four motor vehicle collisions in a four hour span. Two of the collisions occurred at the same intersection. None of the accidents resulted in any personal injury.

Shoplifting/public intoxication

An intoxicated 35 year old male entered the “Quickie” on William St. last night around 11:00 pm and attempted to steal a brownie. The male was confronted by staff and brief struggle ensued. A passerby contacted police to report a fight. Officers attended and arrested the male. He was held in custody and released when sober.
