On August 26th, Police responded to Sears in the Thousand Islands Mall in regards to a theft complaint.
A 15 year old female and her 13 year old friend were apprehended for shoplifting clothing. The 13 year old was diverted through alternative measures. The 15 year old was charged with Theft Under $5000.00 and Breaching her Probation. Both females are local.
