Motor vehicle collision
October 10th, 2020 at 11:19 AM – The Brockville Police Service along with paramedics and Brockville Fire Department responded to a tragic accident at the intersection of King Street West and Clarissa Street.
Parinaz MOTAHEDIN, 42 year old resident of Brockville, was struck by a vehicle involved in the collision.
An orange Hyundai SUV exited the private drive from “Metro” traveling north bound across the path of a west bound black Honda Civic. The resulting collision sent the Hyundai on its side striking the pedestrian as she was crossing Clarissa Street. Despite the lifesaving efforts of an off duty Brockville Firefighter and paramedics, Motahedin passed away as a result of her injuries received.
Charges have not been laid at this time as the investigation is not complete.
