Public Intoxications

On March 16th, Brockville Police responded to a complaint concerning an intoxicated male face down in the snow on a south end street. Police arrested and charged the male with public intoxication.

He had the right house number but just the wrong street!! He was released with a fine when sober.

Domestic Disturbance

On March 15th, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a south end residence.

Police dealt with an intoxicated, 32 year old female, who assaulted her 37 year old male partner and their teen male child as well. There were no injuries noted as a result of either assault. The female was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. She was released on conditions when sober and given a court date in the future.

Domestic Dispute

On March 14th, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at an apartment complex in the center of the city.

While on scene, Police discovered that an involved male party was lying about his identity. Records showed there was a warrant for his arrest. The argument was verbal in nature but the local male, 32 years of age, was arrested and charged with personation and the warrant was executed. He was held for a bail hearing.

Shoplifting

On March 15th, Brockville Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Valumart in the Brockville shopping Center.

A local, 77 year old male had stolen items and hid them on his person. He was spoken to by police and arrangements were made between himself and the business to make amends.

Dispute

On March 14th, Brockville Police dealing with a male and female arguing outside a bar in the downtown area.

The 36 year old, local male, would not respond to requests from Police to stop engaging in the dispute and he would not settle down. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and was released with a fine when sober. The argument was verbal in nature.

Disturbance

On March 13th, Brockville Police responded to a disturbance call in the King St. W. area. One of the females involved in the dispute was currently wanted by police for breaking a window out of downtown business last weekend. She was arrested for the outstanding mischief and released on conditions with a future court date.

Domestic Dispute

On March 13, Brockville Police responded to a domestic dispute at a north end residence.

A 43 year old male, who resided in the home was arrested and charged with forcible confinement and mischief. The accused damaged property belonging to his female partner and refused her leave of a room within the residence. There were no injuries suffered by anyone in the incident and the male was released on conditions with a future court date.

Unwanted Person

On March 13, Brockville Police responded to an apartment complex in the south end of the city in regards to an unwanted person.

A 17 year old, local male had attended a family member’s residence where he was not welcome. He caused damage to the entry door during the incident. Police arrested and charged the youth with mischief. A probation breach was also laid in regards to charges the youth had already dealt with. He was released on conditions with a future court date.

Breach of Conditions

Brockville Police responded to a residence in the south end of the city in regards to a possible breach of conditions complaint.

A local, 56 year old male had been consuming alcohol. He was awaiting a court date for other charges and no alcohol consumption was a condition of his release. A family member discovered he had been drinking and was concerned. He was arrested for the breach and released when sober with a future court date.

Theft Complaint

On March 11, Brockville Police attended to Walmart on Parkedale Ave. in regards to a theft complaint.

The accused was an 18 year old, local resident. While investigating the incident, Police tied the suspect to another theft from the LCBO. It was also noted the accused was already facing similar charges from another jurisdiction and had numerous conditions of release in place. He was charged with two counts of theft, numerous release breaches and will attend bail court.
